AAC
Our team possesses extensive experience in utilising a wide range of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) supports, ranging from low-tech options like Key Word Sign and core word boards to high-tech solutions such as Proloquo2Go and LAMP programs to effectively assist children and adolescents in enhancing their communication skills.
LITERACY
We provide evidence-based systematic synthetic phonics programs and expert guidance to support individuals of all ages in developing strong reading and writing skills.
Social-emotional
We offer tailored support designed to advance client-specific goals focused on social-emotional learning and effective communication development.
We CAN support you
There are several options for you to fund your sessions with Speak Learn and Play:
○ We offer supports to NDIS participants in our area for assessment and therapy services. We accept self-managed and plan-managed clients. If you need guidance access NDIS through https://www.ndis.gov.au
○ We can support you if you have private health insurance that covers speech pathology services
○ We are able to take on clients through Medicare rebate via the Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP). Speak with your GP to obtain the CCMP before you attend your first appointment.
○ We are able to support private paying clients without a refer.
